By downloading, accessing, or using OMS Player, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

• Account & sign-in information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, or activate the App, we receive your email address and, where you choose to share it, your name.
• Access / license code. If you unlock the App using an access code, we store that code to validate and manage your license.

Information collected automatically

• Device identifier. We generate and store a device identifier to bind your license to your device and prevent unauthorized sharing.
• Usage & activity data. To operate, secure, and improve the App, we record in-app activity such as screens viewed, features used, buttons tapped, and playback/song settings you configure (for example volume, loop, auto-play, trim, and fade settings).
• Device & technical data. Basic device information such as platform (iOS/Android), app version, and language.

Purchases & subscriptions

• When you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat. We receive the purchase and subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active) and an anonymized user identifier. We never receive or store your full payment card or bank details — those are handled directly by Apple or Google.

Media on your device

• OMS Player plays audio content that you select or add. Any such audio is used locally for playback within the App and is not uploaded to our servers unless a specific feature you enable states otherwise.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its core features.
• To authenticate you, activate your license, and bind it to your device.
• To process and manage your subscriptions and validate entitlements.
• To understand how the App is used so we can fix problems, improve features, and enhance security.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your license or account is active, or as needed to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

OMS Player is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
• You may manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• You may stop all further collection of information by uninstalling the App.
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

8. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to such processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
